Shaykh Umair Haseeb

Shaykh Umair Haseeb, after formal studies in Chicago, pursued full-time studies in Arabic and Islamic Law at The Qarawiyyin in Fes, Morocco. He holds licenses in Legal Theory, Maliki Law, Grammar, Creed, and the Prophetic biography. Returning to the U.S., he served as a chaplain at Cook County Correctional and later as the Director of Religious Affairs at Ta’leef Collective. Currently studying at al Azhar University, Cairo, he is the Resident Scholar of Mozaic, teaching classes and facilitating communal gatherings.
